Bemalastic 1213 BDM is a hot applied, flexible, polymer-modified asphalt waterproofing membrane. Bemalastic 1213 BDM forms a seamless continuous monolithic waterproofing membrane which is impermeable to moisture penetration and remains flexible over a wide range of temperatures.
Recommended Use
Bemalastic 1213 BDM is designed to protect structures from costly damage caused by water infiltration.
Typical applications include:
- Waterproofing concrete slab construction on highway bridgedecks, parking garages, roof terraces, plaza decks, pedestrian concourses and podiums.
- Single course construction such as tunnels, reservoirs, planters, foundation walls and reflective pools utilizing two course construction.
- Protected, inverted membrane roofing systems.
Bemalastic 1213 BDM is suitable for use between concrete substrate and asphaltic concrete overlays on vehicular travelled ramps or bridgedecks with excessive grade or superelevation <5%. Manufacturers should be consulted on grades in excess of 15%.

Reemay BP-16 fabric reinforcement is a thin spun-bonded white polyester fabric.
Use
Provides added reinforcement to the asphalt waterproofing membrane over cracks in the concrete substrate, construction joints and at horizontal deck to vertical details.
It is also used as part of the reinforced assembly in between layers of asphalt waterproofing membrane throughout the entire substrate area (2-ply system).

Waterproofing Primer
A blend of selected asphalts and petroleum cutback conforming to the requirements of a damproofing/waterproofing primer PCGSB.37.GB.9.
Penetrating primer, formulated for brush or spray applications.
Recommended Use
A surface conditioner to enhance bond between substrate and waterproofing membrane or other asphaltic type coatings. Used as a damproofing/waterproofing coating to prevent migration of moisture through masonry or concrete structures.

Protection Board
Semi-flexible core board, composed of a mineral fortified asphaltic core between two outside layers of asphalt impregnated fiberglass mat.
Use
Provides protection to the rubberized asphalt waterproofing membrane from damage by backfill and construction traffic. Typical applications include plaza decks, roof terraces, promenade decks, pedestrian concourses, tunnels, concrete bridge decks and parking garage decks.
Features
